For the past few blog posts, I have been detailing how certain ‘caste influences’ have shaped Squelchistan’s political ideologies over the centuries and especially over a half century when the Ideological Schism of 1968 took place. All of this comes from David Priestland’s Merchant, Soldier, Sage: A History of the World in Three Castes . Each one of these castes has influenced Squelchistan in various ways, both regarding political ideologies and also with sub-cultural attitudes in Squelchistan (as well as in other parts of North America).
