By now my online college studies have completed, and now I can move onto more enlightened activities that will help me become a more productive member of Iowa City area society (or as much as a mildly autistic individual with anxiety and depression issues can contribute). 3-3 ~ Listen To Vapors (Instead Of Inhaling Them)

By now a fair number of readers of my blog posts know that I have an issue with nostalgia (to which my first gripe can be seen here ). It’s been written into Squelchistani psychology to a level I find bemusing to say the least, and in almost all ways I wish we would collectively bury the past into its proper place: lessons that we can absorb and utilize in the present, mostly on doing what is appropriate and/or what to avoid doing. There is one exception to this rule I will put up. That exception is Vaporwave. \-\-\ Vaporwave is a type of music that can only be described as an Internet and Nostalgia fusion genre, among other labels. It almost solely exists on the Internet these days, as much of a political statement of its purpose of existence as much as it is a necessity given the sounds it produces.
